The next day, Nina finds another store. The price is a little higher, but the seller has many clear reviews and a better return policy. Nina saves the receipt after she buys the backpack. She learns that a cheap price is not always the best choice.
Online shopping is convenient, but students should read carefully before they pay. A product page may show a big sale, but the total cost can be higher after shipping and other fees.
Good shoppers compare prices and read the product description. They also check delivery time, return rules, and refund rules. If a seller asks for a strange payment method, students should ask an adult for help.
After buying something, it is smart to keep emails, receipts, and messages from the seller. These records can help if the item is late, broken, or different from the picture.
Kevin buys earphones online. When the package arrives, only one side works. Kevin feels angry, but he does not throw away the box. He checks the receipt and takes a photo of the problem.
Kevin writes a polite message to the seller. He says, 'The earphones do not work. Can I get a refund or a new pair?' He also sends the order number and the photo.
